Donald Ray Brown, 65, of Spring Hope, formerly of Fayetteville, died Friday, June 28, 2019.
Mr. Brown was Retired from the Army as a SFC with the Special Forces. He continued serving the U. S. Military as a contractor training future United States Army Special Forces soldiers. He was an avid Historian and Civil War Reenactor.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 12 noon at Lafayette Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Janice Brown; children, Amy Michelle Kile, Joseph Michael Kile, Jr. and wife Mate’, Sarah Dee Brown, Lawrence Ray Brown, II and wife Karen; sister, Rhonda Brown Hogsten and husband Alan; brother, Ronald Ray Brown; grandchildren, Joseph Baker, Taylor Baker, Skyler Griffin, Harley Baker, Dakota Fish, Bella Fish, Nathan Kile, Lawrence Ray Brown, III and Charlotte Brown.
