Franklin R. “Bob” Haar, 85 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.
Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 18, 1933. He retired in 1975 from the US Army as a Major after 20 years. Bob was a helicopter pilot and served in the Vietnam War.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Northwood Temple. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm. After the service a reception will follow in the Family Life Center dining hall at the church.
Bob is survived by his sons, John Haar (Karen), Robert Haar, Thomas Haar, Dan Haar; grandchildren, Gretchen, Hannah, John Michael, Robert Thomas; seven great-children; step-son, Ronnie Austin (Jodi),step-daughter, Diane Austin; step-grandchildren, Joey Austin, Aaron Austin (Jessie), Kansas Hanneken (Mike); step-great grandchildren; Kallie Hanneken and Ava Austin; sisters-in-laws, Hazel Tart, Polly Jackson, Peggy Gainey; brothers-in-laws, Gale Barefoot, Gary Barefoot, Tony Barefoot; fur babies, Boopie, Spot, and Booties.
