Kristy Michelle Duke

Kristy Michelle Duke, 42, of Eastover passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

Kristy attended Appalachian State University and UNC Wilmington.  She loved her job at United Management II as Director of Operations.  She was amazingly strong, positive, outgoing, energetic, highly motivated and had an infectious smile.  Kristy loved her family and friends beyond measure.

While Kristy will be dearly missed, her family and friends will find peace and comfort in knowing she is no longer sick and hurting.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with burial following at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

Kristy is survived by three sons, Hunter Hackett, Parker and Duke Travis; stepson, Dawson Travis; mother, Gloria Jean Jordan; father, Bert Duke; stepmom, Carol; grandmother, Ernestine Inman; brother, C. Sean Duke; and step-siblings, Dori, Chris, Cindy and Buddy; and personal guard dog, Brauma.
