Patrick David "Pat" Passow

Retired MSgt Patrick David Passow, 58, of Fayetteville, NC finished his fight with kidney cancer on 11 November, 2018, while a patient at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care, in Moore Co., NC.

Patrick, or Pat as he was known to his family and friends, was born May 25, 1960 in Mosinee WI to Barbara Ann, nee, Urmanski and Marvin Wendell Passow, of Wausau WI.

He served honorably in the USAF for over 23 years, first as a Security Policeman, later as a Medical Technician. Afterwards, Pat had a 17-year career as a Medical Technician with Cape Fear Valley Podiatry, previously known as Cape Fear Podiatry.

Pat had a heart for helping others. He was a volunteer youth soccer coach at McConnell AFB, KS, Ft Bragg, NC, and the Fayetteville YMCA for over 20 seasons. He enjoyed working in his yard, caring for patients, and always made time for his family, the Green Bay Packers, Carolina Hurricanes, fishing, and playing with his pets Maggie, Jack, and Pearl.

Pat is survived by his wife of 33 years Suzanne, nee Dilda, and his sons, Andrew, Christopher,  Matthew, and Paul, his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews, Jim, Jerry, Rose, Arnie, Ron, Tim, his wife, Jane, and their daughter, Samantha Passow, Susie Karau, Karen, Peter, Peggy Kniess, her husband, Jason, and their children, Macey, Hunter, and Mateo Kniess, and cousin, Roger Passow.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Marvin, his brother, Mike, and sister, Mary, as well as his brother -in- law, Barry Karau.

A Memorial Service with full Military Honors will be held 17 November 2018, 3pm, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville, NC.
