Mr. A. Rudolph Bishop, 75, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Bishop was a sub contractor for Cargill, Inc. for many, many years. A memorial service will be held Wednesday morning, February 6, 2008, at 11 am in Victory United Methodist Church with the Revs. Chris Humphreys, Maurice Lancaster, and Bill West officiating. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, Virginia B. Bishop, of the home; two sons, Calvin Bishop and his wife, Colleen, of Fayetteville, Billy Bishop and his wife, Susan, of Hope Mills; a daughter, Beth Gray and her husband, Lance, of Fayetteville; a brother, Herman Bishop and his wife, Vivian, of Fayetteville; and five grandchildren, Mitchell Edge, Caroline Gray, Anna Marie Gray, Brenna Bishop, and Lucia Bishop. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory United Methodist Church, 404 Quality Road, Fayetteville NC 28306.
