Mrs. Aarika Marie White McKay, 18, of Hope Mills died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, in Maine. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in Jernigan Warren Chapel. The Rev. Richard Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. Mrs. McKay is survived by her husband, Adam Michael McKay of the home. The couple married Nov. 25, 2006, in Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg. She is also survived by her parents, Chris and Shari White of Hope Mills; brother, Blake Slaughter of Hope Mills; sisters, Rachel White and her husband, Rodney Williams, of Hope Mills; nephew, Camron Williams of Hope Mills; maternal grandparents, Rachel and John Leipzig, and Cliff and Marie Reams of Blanco, Texas; and paternal grandparents, James and Ruth White of Holden Beach.
