Mrs. Agnes McKenzie Harden, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, in Highland House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Harden. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Jan. 11, 2009, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in Carroll Memorial Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Edwards and the Rev. Brad Fleming. Burial will follow in Antioch Presbyterian Church cemetery, located on N.C. 211 between Raeford and Red Springs. Mrs. Harden is survived by her daughters, Betty Peil and her husband, Ronald, of Brighton Ill., and Ann Pearsall and her husband, Ronald, of Roseboro; a sister, Gertrude Averett of Lumber Bridge; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two great-great-grandchildren.
