Mrs. Agnes Ruby West, 88, of 732 Fairview St., Fayetteville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2008, in her home. Mrs. West was a member of First Baptist Church and was a past volunteer for Fayetteville Urban Ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. West; and granddaughter, Terry Jestes. The family would like to express a special thank you to Liberty Hospice. Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. today, July 20, 2008, in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Bob Bulls officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. West is survived by four sons, Thomas Ray Jestes, Virgil Wayne Spain, Robert Dale Spain and James Adrian West; daughters, Judith Irene Walters, Sherry Ann Capps, Sharon Lynn Sholar and Karon Lee Grady; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver, Kecia Fontano.
