Aileen Rhew Reese, 84, of Fayetteville, was Granted her angel wings on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at her residence.

In the days preceding she was surrounded by the ones she laughed with, lived for. and loved on.

Aileen was born July 23, 1932 in Cumberland County to the late William Wayne Bryant and Dorothy Gillian Cannady Bryant.

She attended Bob Jones University where she majored in English. In early years she was a bookeeper for Sycamore Dairy. When the family moved to Bangkok, Thailand, she taught english at Thammasat University.

But most people know her for being the owner of Charlotte Gray Bridal Salon in Eutaw. She loved the bridal business and all the people she met and be-friended.

Aileen was the definition of a true and graceful southern lady.

She is survived by her Husband of 13 years, Cleland Resse of the home; daughter, Pamela Rhew Bigham of Fayetteville; sons, Stephen Bryant Rhew of Surf City and James Mitchell & Anita Rhew of Wilmington; stepchildren, Sherrie Ray, Chris Luckett and Scott Reese; sister, Sybil Taylor of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Andrea Martin, Christian Rikard, Morgan Rhew, Katie Rhew, Christian Rhew and Chase Rhew; great grandchildren, Palmer Martin and Regan Rikard.

A Memorial service will be held in Campground United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1 P.M.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
