Fayetteville, N.C. Mrs. Aimee G. Porter,93 of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was born April 25, 1918 in New York City to the late Hilda Goldstone and Herman Hoffnung. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Dr. J. Ernest Johnson, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. She is survived by her daughter, Hope P. Tackett of Fayetteville, son, Duane Porter of Fayetteville, 3 grandchildren: Matthew Tackett, Lauren Tackett, Andrew Tackett, great-grandson-Kyle Godsey.She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Porter.
