Alford Eugene "Gene" Reynolds, 78 of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 in Autumn Care of Fayetteville.

Gene was an Army veteran. He was born May 26, 1939 in Batesville, Mississippi to the late Louise Applewhite and Chester Eugene Reynolds.

Graveside services will be Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Gene is survived by his sons, Chad Reynolds of Swainsboro, Georgia and Ross Reynolds of Olive Branch, Mississippi; five grandchildren and his dance partner, Janet King and her family.
