Obituary

Alfred Franklin Gee, 62, of Fayetteville, was eternally healed Thursday, December 5, 2013. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Under the direct tutelage of warriors in God's kingdom: Gloria Hayes, Charles Fox, and John Hedgepeth ... Alfred learned " a man's heart deviseth his way: but The Lord directeth his steps." Before sincerity of heart: Alfred gregariously thrived within the Hope Mills community, joined the Navy, and chose sales as his career choice. After sincerity of heart as a member of Northwood Temple Church for eight years ... He served in the Men's Ministry, ushered in Sunday morning services, volunteered at the church's thrift store, and greeted for funerals and services. One of his greatest accomplishments was to exemplify a new man through Christ Jesus to his daughter, Katie Gee! They shared a sense of humor that always ensured a smile for each other and those fortunate enough to know a changed man. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God!" For those who were not blessed to see, to experience, to cherish Christ through Alfred, we regret your loss. Christ was revealed through Alfred's smile, spirit, and sincerity! A celebration service revealing the power of a living Lord through a changed heart will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 4 P.M. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Gee; daughter, Katie E. Gee; son, Adam Haines; and grandchildren, Morgan Victoria Evans, Braden Gauge Haines, Harley Dianne Haines, and Hunter Cheyenne Haines. May Alfred's survivors humbly demonstrate, "that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God!" Honor God's purpose in the way you may be led: donations to Northwood Temple, to Durham VA MICU, or an organization of your choice in Alfred's name edifying Christ and his mercy!A celebration service revealing the power of a living Lord through a changed heart will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 4 P.M.
