Alice Faye Forsyth Carter went to be with the Lord on Thursday February 16th, 2023.

Faye was born and reared in Henderson, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Doc and Cora Bell Forsyth. She was preceded by sisters Jennie Autry and Daisy Roberson. Faye retired teaching with Wake County Schools in 2004.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Hershell Carter of Raleigh; two daughters, Lori Garber of Fayetteville and Paige Walther and husband David of Waxhaw, NC; grandsons Jared and Gage.

A funeral service will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home at 12 noon. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
