Alice Mew Musselwhite, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She was born in St. Pauls, North Carolina on August 8, 1927. She is survived by her husband Charles; a daughter, Rebecca Vincent and her husband Carmon of Wilmington and a son, Perry Musselwhite of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a brother, John Mew and his wife Caroline of Fairmont, North Carolina, and a sister, Virgie Carter, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. A funeral services for Mrs. Alice Mew Musselwhite will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 1:00 in the Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel in Fayetteville, North Carolina; officiated by Dr. Brian Lee. The family will receive friends at Jernigan Warren prior to the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm. The burial will be immediately following the service at Meadow Brook Cemetery in Lumberton, North Carolina. The family wishes to extend special a thank you to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Dr. Andre Leonard and his staff for their loving care and assistance.
