SMITHFIELD — Mrs. Alice Marie Naylor, age 97, passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon to 1p.m. Thursday, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Naylor was preceded in death by her husband, Pascol Naylor; son, Thomas Naylor; and grandson, Tommy Naylor.

Surviving are her daughter, Flora Warren Williams and husband Thomas "Tom" Williams; son, Larry Naylor and wife Gale; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was dearly loved by her family. She also had many friends over the years with whom she enjoyed spending time. She loved children and ran a daycare in her home for several years.

The family wishes to thank Meadowview Assisted Living in Smithfield and the Brian Center in Clayton for their love and care during her stay.
