Alma W. Barbour
FAYETTEVILLE — Mrs. Alma Wall Barbour, 82 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, due to complications of heart disease.
She was a retired nursing assistant at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Bernard Wall and John Barbour, brothers, Bennie and Craven Hicks, son, "Bucky" Wall; and a special granddaughter, Michelle Odom.
She is survived by her children, Doris Gregory Kearney and her husband, Charles, Brenda Odom and husband, Johnny Ray, Ralph Barbour, Deborah Barbour and Sandra Bryant; sister, Dorothy Taylor and husband Harold; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with the Rev. Amanda Eastridge officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
