Alma O'Briant "Boots" Harvey, 85, of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord And Savior on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her home.

Alma was born September 13, 1937 in Kernersville, NC to the late Elnora and Frank O'Briant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene Harvey.

Alma retired from the Cumberland County School System and later worked as a church secretary for Green Springs Baptist Church for several years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 1 PM at Green Springs Baptist Church, 1095 East Green Springs Rd., Parkton, NC 28371. The family will receive friends at the Church from 12-1 PM on Saturday.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Harvey and Annette Patterson (Billy); son, Alan Harvey (Pat); brother, Francis Hogan "Bones" O'Briant (Ann); sister, Jo Ellen Starr; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Samaritan's Purse.
