Alvin Lloyd Anderson, 76, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, in his home. Mr. Anderson was born July 14, 1931, to Heber Ray and Marinda Case Anderson. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1954. He retired as an engineer from Fasco in 1994. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, October 5, 2007, in the Jernigan Warren Chapel with the Rev. Todd Brady officiating. The burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Shelby Anderson; four sons, Gregg and his wife Yvette of Fayetteville, Alvin Page Jr and wife Tammy of Fayetteville, Todd and wife Marilou of Hope Mills, and Patrick and wife Jennifer of Denver; three brothers, Otis Anderson of Tampa, Fla, and Jimmy Anderson of Summerville, SC; a sister, Mary A. Croushore of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Mary Anderson, Robert Anderson, Laureen Anderson, Alvin Anderson Jr., Andrew Anderson, Shelby Anderson and Rio Anderson; two step-grandchildren, Morgan and Jonathon; and three great-grandchildren.
