Amber Paige Maldonado, 56, passed away on Thursday April 25, 2024.

Amber was a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and a Peninsula resident since 2007. She graduated from Westover High School and earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked as a Special Ed teacher in Moore County, North Carolina, Cumberland County, North Carolina and James City County, Virginia. She enjoyed rescuing animals.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence "Larry" Maldonado, daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" Maldonado and brothers Emery "Em" Albritton and Robert "Hy" Albritton. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to Lizzie Maldonado.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday April 28, 2024 at Amory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service until 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
