CSM Andrejs Bedelis U.S. Army Retired, 85 of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Andrejs was born on May 18, 1935 in Latvia. He served 4 years in the U.S. Marines and retired from the U.S. Army after 24 years of service where he was a highly decorated soldier.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with military honors.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Waltraud "Trudi" Knauber Bedelis; 2 sisters; a niece; a nephew and many friends.
