Andrew "Andy" Coble Bryant, 60, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, in Cape Fear Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Grossman and David Canady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, June 13, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mr. Bryant was a retired truck driver. His CB handle for more than 30 years was "Carolina Poor Boy." He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Bryant; and a daughter, Susan Bryant. Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Jewell Cain Bryant of the home; a daughter, Sarah Pate and husband Kevin of Fayetteville; a son, Robert Bryant of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren, Angel Bryant, Allen Bryant, Alta Bryant, Bonnie Pate, Kevin Pate Jr., Sydney Pate and Susan Pate; a brother, Laverne Bryant of California; and four sisters, Maxine Woodburn of Elizabethtown, Martha Kornegay of Fayetteville, Alice Jones of Climax and Mary Ruth Barnard of Amelia, Va.
