FAYETTEVILLE - Retired Lt. Col. Angelo T. "Zandy" Zandiotis, 86, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with military honors. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Mr. Zandiotis was a veteran of World War II and Vietnam War. He retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy and a daughter-in-law, Melissa. He is survived by his sons, Milton Zandiotis and wife Jane, of Fayetteville, Tony Zandiotis and wife Delissa, of Killeen, Texas and Greg Zandiotis of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Zandiotis of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel . The family will receive friends following the service.
