Ann Warwick Simmons, 84 of Southern Pines formerly of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Ann was born in Fayetteville on March 2, 1933 to the late Jessie Kinlaw and English Bunyan Warwick. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Fayetteville. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Simmons; son, Craig Simmons and a sister, Betty Rose Volz.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Ann is survived by her nephews, Robert E. Johnston and wife Betsy of Fort Mills, S.C.; Scott Volz and wife Lorie of Granite Falls, Michael Volz and wife Sherrie of Florence, S.C.; six great-nephews.
