Mrs. Anne Purser Hunter, of Fayetteville died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Hunter was a 1963 graduate of 71st High school, she was retired from the N.C. school system as a teachers aid and was a member of Village Baptist Church. Anne was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her husband J. D. Hunter and son, Vince Hunter.

She is survived by her son, Lance Hunter; brother, Jack Moody Purser, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Rev. Nick Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
