Mrs. Anne V. Murzyn, of Fayetteville, died Monday, April 28, 2008, in her home. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday, May 1, 2008, in St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mrs. Murzyn was born in Chicago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had many friends from the Facing Forward Cancer Support Group of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She belonged to St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a volunteer at Fayetteville Urban Ministry, Cancer Dinner Group and the Sassy Red Hots from the Red Hats Society. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murzyn was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband, Tony of the home; two sons, Michael Anthony Murzyn and wife Jillian of Liberty Township, Ohio, and Randy Scott Murzyn of Pinehurst; sister, Bernadine Alongi and brother in law John Alongi of Downers Grove, Ill; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Grace of Liberty Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, North Hollywood, CA 91607-3421 or to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2844 Village Drive, Fayetteville NC 28304. The family will receive friends, tonight, April 30, 2008, from 4 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm.
