Annie Fields Hutchinson went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Village Baptist Church, with the Rev. Nick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Fireside Room at the Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Edwin Hutchinson and her niece, Mary Ann Grooms.
She is survived by her daughter Traci Hutchinson Dunn and husband David of Fayetteville; son, Richard Hutchinson and wife Barbara of Florida; grandchildren, David A. Dunn and wife Candice, Dana Dunn Hutchens and husband Bill, Daniel Adam Dunn, Scott Hutchinson and wife Nikki, Karen Winchester and husband David; great grandchildren, Caroline Dunn, David William Dunn, Andrea Hutchens, Grant Hutchens and Reid Hutchens, Riley Mekush and Madison Winchester; her dear niece and nephew, Barbara Spiller and Randy Miller as well as many other nieces and nephews; her dearest friends, Betty Kirby and Jimmie Taylor and many other dear friends.
Ann was born on October 1, 1928 in Boardman, to Warren and Mary Fields. She was raised in Garland, before moving to Fayetteville. She married Ed. Hutchinson in 1954. She was a charter member of Village Baptist Church, where she was The Childcare Director for 27 years. She was actively involved in all aspects of her church as well as the local community. Ann was loved by her Seekers Sunday School Class and choir members. She touched so many lives of the families and children she worked with and served over the years. Her loss will be felt by many. She spent her last year's enjoying her family, friends and grand dogs.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Village Baptist Church or to FAAPS.
