Obituary

Mrs. Annie Lou Faircloth Bullard, 80, of Fayetteville, NC died July 9, 2014. She was a native of Roseboro, NC where she grew up on the family farm and was the Valedictorian of the Roseboro High School Class of 1952. Mrs. Bullard was a retired Registered Nurse graduating with honors from Highsmith Nursing School in 1955. She retired from the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC and was also an instructor at Fayetteville Technical Community College in the CNA program. She joined Highland Presbyterian Church in 1955 and was a member of the Ada West Sunday School Class. She is survived by two sons, Frank H. Bullard of Atlanta, GA; Jeffrey E. Bullard and wife Michelle of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren, J. E. "JEB" Bullard, Jr.; Palmer F. Bullard; and Williford C. Bullard. The family would like to acknowledge Shirley Guilfoye who was a special friend and caregiver to Mrs. Bullard. Mrs. Bullard was preceded in death by her husband of 56-years R. Harold Bullard; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Cosby T. Faircloth; siblings, C. T. Faircloth; Virginia F. Pinkston; Eloise T. Faircloth; Willie S. Faircloth; C. Edison Faircloth; and S. Beatrice Faircloth. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 2:30 pm in the Highland Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. The visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Presbyterian Church, 111 Highland Avenue, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
