Annie Elizabeth Hester Thompson, 89, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Thompson was a charter member of Lakedale Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Thompson; grandson, Steven Skinner; sister, Vivian Kinlaw; son-in-law, Charles Skinner.

Surviving are her daughters, Carol T. Skinner of Columbia, S.C., Connie Thompson Sessoms and husband E.T. of Roseboro; brother, D. Eugene Hester and wife Rhonda of Fayetteville; sisters, Sylvia Dean and husband Howard of Hope Mills; brother-in-law Horace Kinlaw of Asheville; grandchildren, David Skinner and wife Teresa, Mark Skinner and wife Melissa, Brian Lewis, Brent Lewis and wife Promise; great grandchildren, Patrick, Angelica, Hailey, Raven, Christopher, Madison, Noah and Payton.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
