Annie Pearl Stevens, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 .

Pearl was born on February 8, 1930 to Hettie and Russell Rockwell. She was a supportive and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was happiest spending time caring for and visiting with the ones she loved. Pearl brought love and joy into the lives of every person she met.

She enjoyed creating delicious meals, sewing, decorating, and traveling. For 65 years, Pearl was a dedicated member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

She is survived by her 3 children, Linda Pearl Coons of Fayetteville, NC, Johnny Stevens and wife Linda Faye of Tabor City, NC, and Marcus Stevens and wife Theodosia of Groton, MA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
