Obituary

Annie Mae Price, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Valley Medical Center.

Born on September 15, 1940, in Cumberland County, Annie was the daughter of the late Jasper Conley Wallace and Fannie Susan Dean Wallace. Raised on a family farm, she learned early the values of hard work, devotion, and caring for others—qualities that remained at the center of her life.

Though she never obtained a driver's license, Annie never missed a trip or an opportunity to go wherever she needed to be. She and her husband, Bobby, shared a love for traveling and exploring together. At home, she found joy in working in her yard, especially tending to her beloved azaleas.

A devoted member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Annie sang in the choir and cherished her church and church family deeply. She was a wonderful and nurturing mother, extending that same care to many children beyond her own. An avid reader, she instilled in her children the lifelong value of books and learning. Gifted with a remarkable photogenic memory, Annie was known for remembering every birthday and anniversary, faithfully sending cards to those she loved.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Price, and was the last surviving of her five siblings.

She is survived by her children: Vickie Bannon; David Price and wife, Jenny; Jackie Morgan and husband, Lem; Alan Price; and Donna Michael and husband, Scott. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Krystal Foxen, Tony Price, Rett Morgan and husband, Michael, Joanna Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Alaina Price, Ryan NaDell, and Joshua NaDell; as well as her great-grandchildren, Troy Foxen and Colt Foxen.

The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, followed by burial at Lafayette Memorial Park West.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, 545 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, N.C. 28301. Online condolences may be made at www.jerniganwarren.com.
