Anthony C. "Lucky" Cabeza, 91, of Fayetteville, died Friday, December 22, 2017.

Mr. Cabeza was a longstanding member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, a Mason, a member of the VFW, DAV and was active in several other organizations. He was an Eagle Scout and served as a scout leader for over 40 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 1 p.m. at St. Matthews United Methodist Church with entombment following in Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Military and Masonic Rites. Mr. Cabeza was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine C. Cabeza; son, Anthony Cabeza; grandson, John Cabeza, Jr. He is survived by his son, John Cabeza and wife Donna; daughter, Toni Long and husband Craig; daughter-in-law, Pandora Cabeza; grandchildren, Matthew Cabeza, Morgan and Sarah Long; and his companion, Marie Russ. The family will receive friends from noon -1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the Church. Arrangements by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
