Ms. April Gail Corbett, 59, of Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by her immediate family.

April was born April 11, 1964, in Little Rock, AR, to the late Isaac Joseph Corbett and Patricia May Heisler Martinez.

After obtaining a degree in nursing, April worked as a Registered Nurse for 14 years.

Outside of her career April had passions for cooking, arts, and crafts, and took pride in decorating her home for the holidays.

April is survived by her son Mitchell Summers; her daughter Megan Johnson; her mother, Patricia Martinez; grandmother, Joyce Heisler Townsend; son-in-law Devin Johnson; uncle Ronald Heisler; and former husband Richard Addington.

April is preceded in death by stepfather Jorge L. Martinez, and sister Kristy Ann Martinez.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the family home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in April's honor.
