Arnold Easton Houston, Jr., 88 of Fayetteville was called to his heavenly home by his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, September 30, 2018.

Arnold was born November 29, 1929 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Margaret Larkin and Arnold Easton Houston, Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Houston and son, Arnold E. Houston, III.

Arnold was a graduate of Florida State University. He was a longtime active member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and his passion was serving on the Missions Committee.  Arnold taught Sunday School at the Fayetteville Fire Station on Person St. for many years and he was a former member of the Fayetteville Lions Club.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. John Cook.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the Snyder Memorial Gathering Hall from 12: 45 pm until 1:45 pm.

Arnold is survived by his daughter, Karen Houston of Fayetteville; daughter-in-love, Teresa Houston of Conway, SC; grandson, Matthew Houston and wife Olivia of Columbia, Tn.; niece, Debbie Hall and husband Gary of Fayetteville; nephew, Rudy Pope and wife, Krista of Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Missions or Operation InAsMuch or Fayetteville Area Operation InAsMuch.
