Ashley Hancock, a resident of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, November 23rd 2021 at the age of 35, after a fierce three-and-a-half-year battle with colon cancer.

Ashley was born on June 25, 1986, to Bill and Darla Fallon. She spent the first half of her life in Pennsylvania before relocating to North Carolina in 2005. She met her husband Donovan in 2006. It was love at first sight, and they were married shortly thereafter. Together, they have two beautiful children, Zander and Milena.

Ashley loved to cook and to lose herself in books or television in her spare time. She was passionate about giving to others. She regularly was involved with different Veteran organizations, particularly the Wounded Warrior Project. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband and kids. Seeing their joy was her greatest source of happiness.

Prior to her diagnosis in 2018, she worked as a medical office assistant and a pharmacy technician. The medical field had always been of great interest to her. Since finding out she had cancer, she had been an advocate for awareness. At any chance she could, she used her own story to help someone else.

She is survived by her husband Donovan, and two children: Zander (11) and Milena (9). She is also survived by her parents, Bill and Darla, sister Allison, brother Adam, sister-in-law Tiffany, nephew Owen (5) and niece Quinn (3), as well as her mother-in-law Nancy and brothers-in-law, Rubin and Eddie.

A service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 1st, at 2:00 PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The family will receive visitors prior to the service starting at 1:00.
