FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Atheleen Kelly Riley, 77, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, in her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Riley; parents, Annie Ruth Waters and Rufus Hilburn Kelly; brothers, Ray Hilburn Kelly and G.W. Crumpler; and sister, Elma Elizabeth Kelly Sutton. She retired as an assistant manager of Hofheimers Shoes. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah O'Quinn of the home, Ann McDowell of Fleetwood, Pa., and husband Ken, and two sons, William Loffell Jackson and wife Verdeen of Phoenix, and Ray Jackson and wife Sandra of Stedman; three brothers, Ronald Kelley of LaGrange, Donald Kelley and wife Barbara of Calypso, and Gary Kelley and wife Ann of Mount Olive; eight grandchildren, Beverly Winger, Vickie Williford, Kriscina Guana, Tera Springman, Jeremy Jackson, Kayla Jackson, Laura McDowell and Heather McDowell; and seven great-grandchildren, Kristopher Winger, Nicholas Winger, Anna-Grace Williford, Megan Guana, Lauren Guana, Stone Springman and Bailey Springman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at 2p.m. in the chapel of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The Rev. Bobby Murray will officiate the service. The burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at the funeral home.
