Mrs. Barbara Bell, 84, entered her heavenly rest, in the comfort of her own home Sunday, July 26, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Bell; her daughter, Donna Milliner; and her son, Donald Bell Jr. of Fayetteville.

At 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, the life and faith of Mrs. Bell will be celebrated in Praise Fellowship, at 510 Adams St. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Raeford Road.

Mrs. Bell was born in Tryon. She met and married her husband, Donald, of Gastonia. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, and they began a military lifestyle. Besides being a great homemaker, she was a woman of faith who long served in church ministries, especially visiting the elderly and the shut-in.

She was most grateful for those who visited her during her illness. Her family recognizes the wonderful blessing that her hospice team has been.
