Mrs. Barbara Jane Rose Caudill, born May 24, 1951, passed away Jan. 9, 2014, in the Hospice House of Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol. She had recently moved to Bristol to be close to her granddaughter, daughter, and son-in-law. Her life was one that was cut too short by a tragic accident, but she was surrounded by loved ones during her final days. Barbara was survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny Kay Brown and Blaine Howard Brown, and granddaughter, Bella Grace Brown – all of Bristol; her sons, Brian James Caudill of Charlotte and Chad Michael Caudill of Columbia, S.C.; and her sister, Mary Lou Woodford of Akron, Ohio.. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Wellmont Hospice House of Bristol for their special care of both Barbara and the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National MS Society, 3101 Industrial Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609 – a cause that was near and dear to Barbara's heart; or the Wellmont Hospice House of Bristol, 280 Steeles Rd, Bristol, TN 37620 – a caring group of individuals who do an excellent job to be sure all are comfortable during such a difficult time. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 18, 2014 at 4pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm at the funeral home.
