Barbara Anne Jacobs Collier, 90, of Wade, NC, died Friday, December 9, 2022, at her residence.

Barbara was born April 16, 1932, in Shreveport, LA, to the late William Beverly Jacobs and Myrtis Lucille Aldridge Jacobs.  She was a homemaker.  Barbara had many interests, which included:  knitting, Facebook, birds, flowers, and animals.  Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Collier; children, Barbara Collier, Mary Carter, Richard Collier, Russell Collier, and Gordon Collier; sisters, Margaret E. Myers and Mary C. Smith; and brother, Robert Smith.

Barbara is survived by her children, Jan C. Alexander, Adam Collier and spouse, Derek Crockett and Nathan Collier and spouse, Vicki; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 4100 Old Bluff Church Road, Godwin, NC 28344, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
