Barbara M. OBriant FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Barbara Martin O'Briant, 70, of Fayetteville, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a homemaker and an active member of Village Baptist Church. She was a former personnel manager of Kings Point Manufacturing and also a volunteer at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at 1 p.m. in Village Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Martin and the Rev. Eastland Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. O'Briant is survived by her husband, Phillip Ellis O'Briant of Fayettevillle; son, Ricky E. O'Briant of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law, Betsy O'Briant of Fayetteville; daughter, Lisa O. Odom of Raleigh; son-in-law, Art Odom of Raleigh; four granddaughters, Meredith O'Briant of Fayetteville, Brittany, Brooke and Barrett Odom of Raleigh; sisters, Susan Martin of Raleigh, and Johnnye Davis of Odessa, Texas; and brothers, George Martin of Odessa; and brother, Gary Martin of Big Springs, Texas.
