Barbara J. Smith FAYETTEVILLE -- Ms. Barbara Jean Smith, 66, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, in her residence A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at 11a.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Scot McCosh officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rubell S. Harris and James W. Smith; and her sister, Peggy S. Woodell. Surviving are her daughter, Cheri Davis Lassiter and husband, Marty; sons, Michael Davis and wife, Jody, and Christopher Davis and wife, Kristin; sisters, Linda S. Johnson and Mae Parsons; and grandchildren, Trey, Hannah and Sydney Lassiter, Ryan and Andrew Davis and Alex and Audrey Davis. Also surviving are her previous husbands, Troy W. Davis and Joel Dimmette. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
