Fayetteville- Beatrice T. Blair, 95, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was born in Sampson County, NC to the late L.Frank and Mamie Tew. Mrs. Blair was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Temple Baptist Church in Fayetteville, with burial to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, 6 pm to 9 pm at Jernigan and Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. She is survived by her son, George Blair and his wife, Linda of Tulsa OK, daughters, Kay Jackson, Martha Couey and Bernadine Couey, all of Fayetteville, sister Daphine Honeycutt and brother Ellis Tew, both of Salemburg NC, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and five great great children. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald W. Blair, a grandson, two sisters and seven brothers. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Temple Baptist Church Children's Ministries. The family will receive friends Thursday May 23, 2013 at the funeral home from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, at 11 o'clock am in Temple Baptist Church. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
