Mrs. Beatrice Sweat, 78, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006. Mrs. Sweat was a retired Pentecostal minister having served as such for over 50 years. She also had worked as a practical nurse and a homemaker. Her funeral services will be held at 3 pm Friday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. The burial will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight, Thursday, December 21, 2006, at the funeral home. Mrs. Sweat is survived by two daughters, Debra Kelley of Erwin and Marsha Sheakley of Montgomery, AL; son, Dennis Sweat of Fayetteville; brother, Floyd Sweat of Hope Mills; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
