Mrs. Belva Jean Upchurch, 87, died Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC.

Belva was born October 26, 1934, in Nash County, to the late James Henry and Annie Bryant Green.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Orion Agnew "Sam" Upchurch.

Belva is survived by two sons, Richard and Brian Upchurch; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be conducted at the Sandhills State Veteran's Cemetery.
