Bennie L. Melvin, 95, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home of Fayetteville.

A funeral service will be held Thursday December 31, 2015 at 11 AM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Raeford Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 AM.

She is survived by a step-son, Greg Melvin; son-in-law Keith Stanley; brother Clayton Buoyer; sister Kate Childress; 2 granddaughters Faith and Erin Melvin; several nieces and nephews; a special friend Judy Mazzola.
