Bernard F. Schweineberg, 86, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in his home. He was born January 19, 1930.

Mr. Schweineberg served in the U.S. Army with Special Forces for 24 years. He had two tours in Vietnam. Following his career, he retired here in Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances L. Schweineberg; son, Robert "Bobby" Schweineberg, fiancé Tonja; daughters Linda S. Joyce and Janet S. Myers, husband Richard; grandchildren David, Courtney, Ashley, and Thomas.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, April 24 from 6-8 P.M. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Ramsey St. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with burial following at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
