Mrs. Bernice Powell Bowie, 90, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday evening February 5, 2013, in Sampson Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 4 pm in Fayetteville Bible Chapel, 414 Country Club Drive, with Errol Alger presiding. She is survived by her son, Frank Bowie of Roseboro; daughter, Charlene Alger and husband Errol of Winnsboro, SC; sister, Annie Lee Powell of Falls Church, Va; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Jade Alger, Natalie Alger Cupps, Stephanie Alger Miller, Olivia Alger, and Tia Alger and 1 great-grandson, Ali Miller.
