Bertin was born on October 8, 1972, in Mexico to the late Antonio Jaime Gonzalez and Maira Ledesma Vargas. At a young age, he moved to Fayetteville, where he worked tirelessly to build a better life for himself and his family. Through dedication and perseverance, he established his own business, Bert's Lawncare, which he took great pride in.

Bertin was a kindhearted and devoted family man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered for his generosity, strong work ethic, and the love he shared with those around him.

He is survived by his children, Keven Fuentes, Omar Rodriguez, and Valeria Rodriguez; his beloved granddaughter, Heaven Elizabeth Quick; and six siblings.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

Bertin nació el 8 de octubre de 1972 en México, hijo de los fallecidos Antonio Jaime González y Maira Ledesma Vargas. A temprana edad, se trasladó a Fayetteville, donde trabajó incansablemente para construir una vida mejor para él y su familia. Con dedicación y perseverancia, estableció su propio negocio, Bert's Lawncare, del cual se sentía muy orgulloso.

Bertin fue un hombre de buen corazón y un devoto padre de familia, siempre dispuesto a brindar ayuda a quien lo necesitara. Será recordado por su generosidad, su fuerte ética de trabajo y el amor que compartió con quienes lo rodeaban.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Keven Fuentes, Omar Rodríguez y Valeria Rodríguez; su amada nieta, Heaven Elizabeth Quick; y seis hermanos.

Un encuentro de familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el viernes 8 de mayo de 2026, de 3:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., en Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
