Mrs. Bettie Culp Lassiter, 90, of Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Carolina Inn of Fayetteville.

Bettie was born March 19, 1932 in Laurinburg, NC to the late Raymond and Rena Culp.

She was retired from Cumberland County Schools as a first grade teacher at Alger B. Wilkins Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph "Joe" Lassiter  and her son Dwayne Lassiter along with a brother James Culp.

Bettie was a Member of Hay Street United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Darryl Culp Lassiter of Fayetteville.

A private burial will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hay Street United Methodist Church.
