Bettie N. White FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Bettie Nicholson White, 84, of Fayetteville, went on to be with her Lord on Friday, June 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Nicholson and Ruby Nicholson, and a sister, Rebecca Pollack. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 in Grace Baptist Church, where she was a member. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, with the Rev. Phillip Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Survivors include two sons. James Daniel White Jr. and wife Sally of Matthews and William Christopher White and wife Cindy of Hope Mills; a daughter, Bettie White Raynor and husband Marcelle of Lillington; a brother, John Edward Nicholson; a sister, Evelyn Bracknell; grandchildren, Jamie and Evan White, Christy Johnson, Travis Messer, Nicole McMillan and Lindsay Landry; and great-grandchildren, Noah Johnson and Ashlyn and Jacob McMillan.
