Mrs. Betty J. Clark, 75, of Fayetteville, died Monday, January 29, 2007, in Highsmith Rainey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Clark was a member of Arran Lakes Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in Arran Lakes Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Isenhour officiating. A burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Clark Boyd; and brothers, Myron and Ted Jones. She is survived by her husband, CSM David L. Clark, Ret., of the home; daughters, Janice Pollock of Charlotte, Betsy Attaway of Elizabeth City, Patti Jones of Fayetteville, and Vicki Beard of Conyers, Ga.; son, David L. Clark Jr., of Concord; mother, Frankie Williams of Phenix City, Ala.; sister, Annette Newman of California; 18 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
